What does your ideal community look like?

What are the key attributes that drew you in, got you involved?
What keeps you engaged/invested...(or not!)?
What are your long term visions for your community and for yourself?

Do you think you will grow-old-with OR potentrially out-grow your current community (communities)?

the Next Community Model.

I'd have to say that the Internet itself is the perfect starting point for the community that I'd find the most ideal. I personally would love to live in a community which thrived & flourished upon the talents and skills of the individuals residing within. A community which was the combination of a dorm / a small city / & a business. Dormitory / town house like setting where everyone lived together & were able to rely upon one another for what ever amenities. In addition it would be a dorm like situation in the sense that those with similar skill sets & training would live together in "clusters: Next the idea of a small city come into play as the community / living complex itself would have all those things that one would find in a small city. Lastly the people within the community would work within the community / living complex itself providing services and what ever else which was needed by the community itself and then hiring out those same services & or products to other businesses / communities for a minimal amount of profit.... I'm sure this plan or a similar one could be implemented all it would take is individuals looking to create & participate in the Next Community Model....
